Prosperytal Consultants formed strategic alliances and working relationships with some of the major role players, providing various funding instruments, including traditional development financiers, commercial banks and specialised financiers. We facilitate finance applications from R1m upwards.


Various financial instruments exist to fund businesses, some are innovative debt instruments and others are more traditional finance instruments. Instruments available include:

  • Owners equity or shareholders capital, where the entrepreneur takes the risk;

  • Venture equity or shareholders capital, where the investor is not necessarily the entrepreneur;

Business Development Finance

Prosperytal Consultants offers services to the Industrial, Tourism, Health, Retail and Services business sectors including franchise based businesses. Business development finance consists of various levels of funding, each level being unique and different financiers are necessary to fund the business. The levels are as follows:

  • Seed capital – funds needed to devise the business concept, conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, to draft business plans, environmental impact studies, etc.;

  • Capital and Venture capital – funds needed to commercialise the business concept;

  • Asset based finance – funds for acquiring plant and equipment, commercial vehicles, etc. The asset is used as security and a deposit is often required;

  • Industrial and Tourism property finance – funds needed to acquire title or right of use of properties;

  • Working capital finance – funds utilised for the day-to-day operation of the business to cover overhead costs, stock, debtors, etc.

Commercial Property Finance

Prosperytal Consultants also offers services to the Retail, Health and Services business sectors including franchise based businesses, focusing on office blocks, small shopping complexes, retail developments, hospitals and clinics, hotels and guest houses. The commercial property finance consists of various innovative debt instruments to fund part of or full purchase price of the property, including transfer and related costs. We do not focus on residential developments.
